Tesla has not yet given a specific release date, only that it will be mid-2023. But this has generated a lot of excitement along with concern that it will again be delayed.

Also, although there is a lot of interest in the new Cybertruck, Tesla will find it has a lot of competition in the electric trucks that have already been released, such as the F-150 lightning and the Rivian R1T.

Though beaten to the starting line, Cybertruck could still come out on top by offering a better product than its competitors.

Tesla Cybertruck Price

Tesla Cybertruck Exterior

When released, the Tesla Cybertruck will cost approximately $50,000 for the base model. This price is considerably more than the $39,900 original price.

However, the change is not surprising since Tesla’s other vehicles have all had price increases since that price was announced.

If the Tesla Cybertruck starts at a price of $50,000, it would be competitive with its rivals as the Ford F-150 Lighting starts at approximately $40,000 and the Rivian R1T at $73,000.

Tesla Cybertruck Specs

Tesla Cybertruck

The Testa Cybertruck has impressive specs, with the most exciting for many people being its ability to go from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 130 mph.

The 2.9 seconds applies to the tri-motor version. But the base model can get from 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.

The Cybertruck will also come with an adjustable air suspension, which can be changed while moving for a maximum of 16 inches of ground clearance. This feature will make the truck great for anyone looking to take it off-road.

Also, the tri-motor version of the Cybertruck will be able to drive an impressive 500 miles on a single charge. The single-motor version will be able to drive 250 miles on a single charge, and the dual-motor version 300 miles.

The Cybertruck has a towing capacity of 14,000 lbs. for its top model, which is better than the Ford F-150 Lightning or the Rivian R1T. It also has a payload capacity of 3,500 lbs.

The Cybertruck will also come with Tesla’s Basic AutoPilot, but consumers will be able to purchase Full Self Driving AutoPilot if they choose.

Tesla Cybertruck Design

There is quite a bit of information available on Tesla’s design, and it is going to be an incredible truck. It will have a number of outstanding features inside and out.

Here are some features of the Tesla Cybertruck.

Tesla Cybertruck Outside

The Tesla Cybertruck has a very unique, futuristic look. But it is certainly sturdy, being made of stainless steel that is scratch and dent-resistant.

Tesla has not officially stated what colors the Tesla Cybertruck would be available in, but Elon Musk did seem to indicate that the Tesla Cybertruck would not be painted.

The lack of paint should not discourage anyone that wants a Cybertruck, though, since the buyer can easily wrap the car in any number of colors.

Tesla Cybertruck Interior

The futuristic exterior of the Cybertruck definitely sets it apart from its competitors. But the interior is more basic.

It is roomy, with two rows of seats that can fit six people. But, beyond this, the only point of interest is the 17-inch touchscreen.

The cargo bed, however, is outstanding and will provide users with 100 cubic feet of storage space. The truck will also have a slide-out ramp which will be convenient for loading motorcycles.

The upcoming release of the Tesla Cybertruck has created a lot of enthusiasm in the market. This is no wonder, given the Tesla Cybertruck’s impressive features.

But the excitement for the truck’s release is tempered with concerns that production could be, yet again, delayed.

However, hopefully, this time, the truck will be released in mid-2023, as promised. We will be keeping up with any new developments and be sure to let you know.
